Alfa Romeo is apparently set to build an SUV on the Jeep Cherokee platform for 2015. This is probably a render (sorry about the watermark) but I wouldn't be surprised if its pretty close. How do you feel about Alfa Romeo going into this market segment?

The Kamal concept from 2003. Might have been a good move in retrospect.

I'm not sure I like Alfa making such vehicles but they need volume to survive, let alone become profitable so if this is what it takes for them to produce cars we might want (a new spdder perhaps?), I'll live with it.

A. Fine with it if it provides the means to make more fun Alfas

B. Still needs to have the best driving dynamics in its class, even if it is a volume seller.

I gave up on trying to speak out against this type of stuff a while ago and decided to just lean into it. I think is is absolutely phenomenal looking!

I honestly couldn't care less. If it helps Alfa sell more cars, then I'm all for it.

So long as they sell a spider and a sporty 4-door, they can sell whatever else they want.

As long as people buy it...

At this point, I'm in favor of any automaker building volume models like this. People want crossovers and they allow smaller automakers to build things Jalops like.

Since it would give me more than one brand to buy suvs from, I'm all for it.
